Retreat Disclaimer
Photography and Videography Consent
1. **Consent to Record:** By participating in the Rūh dë Espěranzâ, participants consent to
being photographed and recorded by the organizers or their designated photographers and
videographers during the event. This includes all activities, sessions, and informal gatherings.
2. **Use of Media:** The photographs and videos captured may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to marketing materials, social media, website content, newsletters, and other digital and print media. The organizer retains the right to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these images and videos for promotional purposes without further compensation to the participant.
3. **Rights and Ownership:** All photographs and videos taken during the retreat are the property of the School of Ikigai. Participants waive any rights to inspect or approve the finished product or any accompanying written material. Participants agree that the organizer owns all rights, including copyrights, to the media taken during the retreat.
4. **Privacy and Sensitivity:** The organizer agrees to use discretion when using images and videos, ensuring that the content is respectful and appropriate. Participants have the right to request that specific photos or videos not be used if they feel uncomfortable or if the content is sensitive.
5. **Participant’s Own Recording:** Participants are allowed to take their own photographs and videos during the retreat, provided it does not disrupt the activities or infringe on the privacy of other participants. Any media taken by participants for personal use should not be used for commercial purposes without prior consent from the organizer.
By signing this agreement, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this photography and videography clause.
