Role Overview

Community & Ambassador Lead help expand the School of Ikigai community by connecting aligned individuals and groups to retreats, workshops, and programs.

This role is ideal for community organizers, coaches, facilitators, or leaders who are naturally connected to networks interested in personal growth and meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Introduce aligned communities to School of Ikigai retreats and programs
• Facilitate introductions to potential participants
• Support the development of community gatherings or workshops
• Represent the spirit and mission of School of Ikigai

Ideal Candidate

• Natural community builder
• Experience organizing groups or events
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• Passion for purpose, healing, and community development

Who This Role Is NOT For

This role may not be the right fit if you:
• Prefer transactional interactions rather than nurturing relationships
• Feel uncomfortable facilitating conversations or supporting community engagement
• Are not energized by connecting people and helping them feel welcome
• Prefer behind-the-scenes operational work rather than visible community interaction
• Are not interested in cultivating long-term relationships with participants and alumni

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys holding space for connection and belonging.

Compensation

This role operates through a referral-based structure.
Ambassadors receive commissions for participants who join programs or retreats through their introductions, along with opportunities for retreat participation and leadership roles within the community.
